While I Was Upstairs Cleaning the Playroom…

… the Irish Twins were taking care of the living room:

(The fact that the Infantile Delinquent isn’t pictured does not mean he wasn’t involved (it means he was upstairs changing his underwear.))

Sometimes people joke with me about having more kids.

I don’t really think it’s funny.

That’s pretty bad. Really bad even. But definitely vacuum-up-able. Reading all the comments on Facebook beforehand, I was bracing myself for some serious Sharpie everywhere. See…..it could have been worse!

Here’s when you wish you had a dog…..or in this case, several dogs.

I love your kids. And one day, you will show these pictures to their spouses and you will laugh like a maniac because you know that these children (and said spouses) will end up with pictures of their own. And then the laughter will continue for generations.

    Ah, family bonding… 😉

    Sweet mercy.

Our situation involved a (very expensive for me at the time) tube of vivid red oil paint on a (two week new) beige corner sectional sofa. yeah.

At least you took photos and had a sense of humour at the moment. : )

I’m glad I will have a boy and girl close together and not two boys together. One does enough damage by himself. *Shudder.

Oh my. But I’m glad it wasn’t something more permanent!

It’s so much better this way than with a bowl and spoon.

And maybe dogs would work, but I vote you get a horse.
