Ta-Da!

It started out like this:
And like this (obviously this is a different angle):
And then it looked like this:
And then this:
Then this:
Then this:
Then this:
Then this:
This:
This:
This:
And now this:
Yay!!!!
The exterior is not done. Before: (notice the darness of the existing wood siding)
Currently:
(notice the not darkness of the new wood siding.)
And there is more work that needs to be done inside too:
But as of right now, I’m done.
And I’m calling it a win.

WOW!
Looks great, you are amazing.
My kids would really enjoy “sock skating” on that floor.

Where’s the sink? Where’s the stove? I think we need more pictures.
But it’s still very impressive. Even if you can’t cook anything, or wash dishes. I always did say functionality was way overrated.
(Seriously – it looks fab!)

I TOLD you people would love the floors. I think it all looks amazing and you are amazing because you did it. My favorite thing though is still your chandelier. Watch out, because I may come steal it!

Amazing! The blue is awesome!!!

Awesome! I love it. The floors, oh can I pause and take a breath? The floors! I love the floor! I could marry that floor!
Will you do all of us that are attempting the same thing, albeit a bit slower, and show how you finish the floor when it gets close to the wall. There’s always a gap and it has been the bane of my existence. I hate calling a pro if I can do it myself!
Thank you Alison for the tour!

It looks great. (Ours is done too. I am not even thinking about putting the wood floor in the living room. It may never get done.)
